Modern Chinese Art: Beginnings
When: 1st Feb – 15th March ( closed Sundays.) |
Where: Asia House, 63 New Cavendish Street, London, W1G 7LP
With the forthcoming Olympics in Bejing and the opening up of China, art and culture from that country are having something of a moment.
So what better way to get a taste of the Orient than this exhibition, focussing on the unique collection of Chinese art formed by scholar and connoisseur Michael Sullivan and his wife Khoan. This, the first of two exhibtions looks at traditional work from the 1940’s to late 20th Century, with another, A New Generation, opening in April.
