London Festival Fringe

August 2nd - 27th | Various venues around London

Fancy some Fringe action without the trek to Scotland? Then you’re in luck. The London Festival Fringe is being held as an alternative to the Edinburgh Fringe. It allows artists and promoters living and working in London to put on shows and events to audiences on their doorstep.
Hundreds of performers and artists take part in events at various different venues around London, from musicians to comedians and theatre writers to film-makers, so as cheesy as it sounds there really is something for everyone. To name a couple, on August 7th in London Fields, there’s a free music and art festival with food from all over the world and on the 3rd the London New Comedy Award. Tickets and information on all their events are available from www.londonfestivalfringe.com so check it out.
