Editor's Letter - August

Welcome to everyone who is reading Open for the first time and those regulars who have been very supportive.

It’s actually a really exciting time as we’re gearing up for the main launch in September.
This involves lots of new contributors, updating the content more regularly and sending out weekly newsletters ( in the next fortnight.)
Do sign up if you haven’t already.
And keep checking back on our Events pages ( there’s one in Big Screen, Performance, Words , Sound ) and Exhibitions page as there you’ll find a weekly selection of four hand-picked plays, gigs, CD’s, movies, book signings and the like , all with a star rating.
Let us know what you think of our choices…. and if you go along, tell us whether it was any good.
