Cannes 2010
King of Cannes Jacques d'Azur

Angelina Jolie
The pneumatic Ms Jolie caused quite a stir at Cannes last year. Who can forget the slashed- to- the- hip gown, the pouty red lips and the very public display of affection to Brad Pitt. All a bit choreographed? Who cares - Cannes is all about putting on a show.
You know you’re Angelina if : You can get any man you want. Or woman. Or child.
Make sure you pack : A killer dress, killer heels and a killer smile.
Leave at home : Any magazine featuring Jennifer Aniston - meaning you’ll probably be poring over Gardeners World on the flight.
Oui... to lover-dovey photo ops with hubby and the kids.
Non,non and thrice non, the relationship is not over

Eric Cantona
The former Manchester United footballer played himself in last years Looking For Eric, and at Cannes won critical acclaim for his role. But it’s not just acting and football that Monsieur Cantona is known for. He’s something of an enigma - a poet, a painter and a lover of fishy metaphors. After being suspended for kung-fu kicking a Crystal Palace fan in 1995 he declared : “When the seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea.”
You know you’re Cantona if : People chant “ Ooh, aah” as you walk down the street.
Make sure you pack : Anything by Jean- Paul Sartre
Leave at home: Your number 7 shirt
Oui ... to the seafood
Non ... to plain English

Jacques d’Azur
The unofficial King of Cannes, this charismatic producer, director, actor, tennis instructor to the stars and all-round bon vivant is a legend on the French Riviera. Rumour has it that he’s currently holed-up in Tahiti, getting some rest before the rounds of bubbly, swimming pools and yacht parties of the film festival.
You know you’re Jacques if : Women love you, men love you, but you love yourself the most.
Make sure you pack : a tennis racket and a posh pen for signing autographs
Leave at home: the Grecian 2000 - Jacques has turned distinguished grey hairs into a fashion statement.
Oui madame, I am single. Would you like to climb aboard my yacht?
Non, monsieur I haven’t drunk enough champagne.

Sharon Stone
In 2009, the Basic Instinct actress arguably stole Angelina’s thunder at the premiere of Inglourious Basterds by sashaying onto the red carpet in a strapless, thigh-skimming Balmain number. Some say she’ll go to any lengths to get attention, but we couldn’t possibly comment.
You know you’re Sharon if : everyone's always saying that you look good for your age.
Make sure you pack: Something short, fake tan, teeth whitener.
Leave at home: any thoughts of modesty
Oui ...to working it
Non....to underwear

Charlotte Gainsbourg
The most controversial film at Cannes last year was undoubtedly Antichrist, starring the enigmatic daughter of Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsborough. The movie is gruelling, gruesome and includes scenes of genital mutilation, but Gainsborough said she enjoyed making it.
You know you’re Charlotte if : your idea of light entertainment is curling up on the sofa with Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Make sure you pack : Leonard Cohen on repeat
Leave at home : Heat magazine
Oui.... to wearing black
Non.. to smiling
